Long tulip drop earrings

These earrings have an arts and crafts feel to them. These have been made with a cross over from my printmaking in that I have carved the tulip design into Lino to create a mold. I then press the silver clay into the mold to get the tulip design before cutting the long oval shape. As each earring is hand made there may be slight variations but that is part of the charm.

These earrings are approximately 3.5cm in length and 1cm in width.

Silver clay is made from recycled silver, the non silver matter burns off in firing leaving fine silver. I fire with a blowtorch.
