Silver rectangle with lavender cz

Dainty Fine Silver rectangular drop earrings set with lavender coloured cubic zirconia. These earring have the stone set while the silver is still in it clay form, the heating process involves the clay shrinking slightly as becomes solid silver, this tension sets the stones in the silver. Stone must have no inclusions otherwise they will shatter which is why cubic zirconia is used.

Drop is approximately 1.5cm and approximately 0.7 cm wide. Ear wires are sterling silver.

Silver clay is made from recycled silver which when fired becomes solid fine silver, I fire by hand with a blowtorch.
